Yes, that helps. I was hoping that the unit would be able to tell the difference between a CD and a DVD, but maybe that's a few years down the road.

Anyway, I am having trouble figuring out just how to turn Anynet+ to OFF. Step-by-step instructions would be helpful!

Also, I currently am not able to hear a CD. The disc loads and plays, but no sound comes out of my system speakers. I have the system rigged up so that the DVD sound will come out of my entertainment system instead of the TV. DVDs play and sound fine; CDs do not. Any ideas? Thanks.

As for not hearing a CD, that will likely be an audio setting (in the audio menu) of the Blu-Ray player. I'm not familiar with Panasonic's menu, so I can't help there. They might have Pre-set or Pro-Logic settings that you can scroll through, since CDs would be stereo, and movies are mostly 5.1 - it may not be passing the signal because of that (but that would be a little odd, I'd admit).

If you can post your full model number of the TV, I'll be happy to help you turn off Anynet+.
