Think I have the standard settings

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I have standard router settings.
Only changed the ssid to a simple word, and the password only contains some letters and numbers.
So I think they are as simple and standard as can be.

any other suggestions?

Sorry but there are far too many stories for me to share about a router that was set to NA and the HDTV was in EU so without a full list of make, model, settings, distance I could be guessing this for a very long time. Most of what we know is over at this link.

Possibly in the Store Mode?

What's your model number?

If it's a recent model, turn the TV on and press "EXIT" on the remote control until you're prompted to "RESET?" Click YES and go through the Plug and Play setup.

Please note that your audio and picture settings will be reset to factory default settings when you do this. If you changed your settings, write them down first.

When given the option between "Store" and "Home" mode, use "Home". If you use "Store", every 30 minutes, your settings will return to a pre-defined setting in the menu. Since "Wired" is a default setting, that would likely fix the problem.

It still goes back to wired. Sometimes even within minutes.
I have a ue46d5700.

Johnhurk,

I'm sorry to hear that didn't help. Usually going through that set-up allows you to keep the settings.

It sounds like you may need to contact the Samsung customer service center in your region. Perhaps some live troubleshooting will save you time and get you squared away quickly.

If nothing else, if they can't assist, they can help with setting up your set for repair.
