Samsung ue40d6100 network interference
Thanks HDTech for considering my problem.
Yes the kit I bought was Samsung UE40D6100 & Samsung WIS09ABGNX. I am simply trying to connect to my Netgear router which works fine throughout the house for Samsung UE55D7000+WIS09ABGNX in lounge; PC; Laptop; Ipad2; Kindle and Iphone. My broardband speed is circa 6Mbps. So there appears no reason why this new equipment won't connect properly. Have seen several other posts on web with similar problems but no apparent answers.
Have since spoken with Samsung support on two occaision but only got rather generic answers of a) Reset factory defaults b) update software (done that already) c) move TV nearer router....??? - shame TV is on wall bracket for use in master bedroom. Have tried changing router setup from Auto Channel to Channel 11 with little change. Have now ordered wireless booster (dLan200AV) in further attempt to get it working.
Also made numerous attempts to update Firmware T-GAS6DEUC-1016.0 without success since there appears to be no Instructions/Idiots Guide anywhere, even Samsung support acknowledges that its not in the manuals. Was given verbal instructions, using software ??? upgrade routine via USB but even that fails.
Any further input/advice much appreciated
