It may also be if people need to log-in to the Apps interface. Pressing the red "A" butotn at the main interface may also help if you're getting error messages.

Sorry to hear.

Try resetting the unit. Empty the disc tray if there's a disc, and then with the power ON, press and hold the STOP button until the unit resets itself.

Then try and load the Apps (this may take a bit, but let it update all the way) and see if that helps.

tried advice connected to netflix , but would not play any titles. also when trying to exit the netflix app. i have to turn off the blu ray player because the screen just freezes.

I was hoping that might work.

You may need to have the unit serviced. If you want, you can try further troubleshooting at 800-SAMSUNG, but if they can't get it set up, you may consider sending it in for inspection and repair. This doesn't sound like normal operation based on your posts.

its been 3 mos. you the only tech who has even bothered to answer me back. thanks for your help but i think i'll invest in one of those media streaming devices and just use this as a blu ray player.

going haywire

after updating, blu ray player is telling me that i need a lan adapter. this player is suppose have built in wifi. will try calling tech support in the morning, but i think i just have another problem they can't fix.

If you call and can't get assistance, ask for a transaction number before the call ends, and then post it here. Keep me posted. I can't promise resolution, but I can maybe get someone to look into your case and see if something can be done. Asking is free, and I can at least do that for you in this situation.
