Samsung Galaxy W wifi with Sky Router problem

Hello,

I recently upgraded to a Samasung Galaxy W and am having trouble with the wifi. It worked ok in the shop but wont connect at home

it goes searching, connecting, authenitcating, remembered then diabled (secured with WPA / WPA2 PSK) in cycles.

I have entered the network key correctly and have excellent signal.

I search for an answer and got a hit regarding the samsung Galaxy S2 with the answer being adjust the sky router encription to AES. There is no such encription on mine only (WEP, WPA-PSK and WPA-802.1x)

any help on a fix would be wonderful

Glad to have you drop by. But just so you know, this forum is meant to mainly support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for Hong Kong. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So while I can't help you directly, if you want Samsung help, here's the Samsung Hong Kong portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/mobile/mobile-phones/smartphone/GT-I8150FKATGY

But we got a nice little community here, and they might have a few other suggestions to help you out.

Upgrade needed

It Sounds like you do not posses one of the latest Router from Sky, that supports AES Encryption. You can purchase one from Sky for £30.00. But first Try WEP or PESK

but remember both sets of Encryption on-the Router and your Device MUST be the Same, and are not as Secure as AES.
