UN55D6050 Smart TV Network Problems

I have a rock-solid network utilizing a Netgear WNDR4500 router. Every device works fine, including smartphones, tablets, notebooks, an XBOX 360, and a Barnes & Noble Nook 3G.
However, the Samsung UN55D6050 Smart TV I purchased yesterday does not. Or rather, the Smart TV software thinks the TV's not connected. According to the TV's network setup itself, it's connected just fine to the Internet.
What happens is this: I configured for my network, which went fine. When I start Smart Hub, however, periodically it complains that it needs the Internet to function and then offers to configure the network. Other times, or if I cancel that enough times, then it goes through to Smart Hub.
At that point, when I try to login I sometimes get an error that there's no network connection. Other times, I'm able to log into my account. When I try to access Samsung apps, however, I either get an error that it can't connect to the network or I get a "network interference" error. Note that I'm able to see DLNA devices on my local network, so there's definitely a connection to the wireless LAN.
So far, I've yet to be able to access Samsung Apps or do anything else requiring an Internet connection. Again, this is in spite of the fact that network status shows me connected to the Internet, and with full bars of connectivity to the wireless LAN.
Very frustrating, obviously, for a purchase in excess of $1000. Any help would be appreciated.
