Sumsumg HL-T5075S White Dots

Is this something that can be fixed?
Hundreds of white dots on the screen - happened in just a few weeks.
We have had the tv for a while and it is great but now it is impossible to watch.

Can a local TV repair or Best Buy Geek Squad fix this?

Heard that is might be a chip that needs to be replaced...

Help...

Try for a free fix first. Here's the short course and of course I hope for good luck.

1. Call it in and see if your set is on the list. Get the transaction number.
2. If they don't give you a free pass, try the top of this forum M-F and see if they help out.

If not, get an estimate and decide.
