So this is what I received from the Facebook Service page. What do I do now?
Thanks for reaching out via Facebook and we apologize any inconveniences. We do see that you are out of warranty. We're happy to set you up for
service, however, the charges would be your responsibility. I know you mentioned the white dots on your screen and Some models are being covered
for free of charge parts replacement under Samsung policy. Anything outside of policy is evaluated on a case by case basis. Other customers'
resolutions are not relevant in determining whether or not your unit qualifies for a free repair.
<div>Our engineers have done extensive research and testing on these units and have determined which models and which production ranges have the particular parts that tend to fail at a higher rate than others. These are the only ones that are being covered outside of the warranty term.
<div>Parts can fail after time as a result of general wear and tear. The part that has failed in your unit is not the same exact part that has been determined to
be fail at a higher than average rate, even though it manifests itself as the same symptom. The symptom itself can be indicative of which part needs to be
replaced, but not that the part was inherently defective from manufacturing.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience in this instance. Please let us know if you'd like for us to set you up service.
