Why won't Intelli-Studio work?! Help!

I'm working on Windows Vista on the latest version of Intelli-Studio for my camcorder. An hour ago, the program was working fine and dandy, but after leaving it open for half an hour whilst working on something else, it crashed as soon as I clicked on it.

I closed the program and started it again but the mp4 files appeared without a thumbnail, just a grey generic 'intelli-studio' waterprint. When trying to open the files. the video window was functioning, except where the video was SUPPOSED to be, it was just black and the video was apparently 00:00 minutes - even though on the Intelli-Studio desktop it recognises the time of the video. When I try and do anything other than save the files, the studio crashes and I am back to square one.

I have tried restarting the computer, logging in and out, leaving it for ten minutes to load but NOTHING is working. I have tried for two hours now and I am getting fed up. The video files are fine and the camcorder itself is fairly new, I don't understand what the problem is!

I'm sorry you are having an issue with Intelli-Studio. With the information you have provided, contacting Samsung Service (please visit Samsung's website in your region for support numbers and links) would be your best next course of action.

Very poor answer, Samsung!

It is a very poor indicator of the service-end for Samsung to not realize that they have a major problem with Intelli-Studio, and immediately provide a simple and free fix on behalf of its customers, for it will only end up with dissatisfied customers such as myself who are not afraid and have the means to turn it into a real public-awareness issue. In having searched the Internet, I see that this issue is rampant with the Samsung video-camera, and has been so for a number of years.

Why have you not recognized the issue? And then taken the necessary steps to service the problem so that it is not up to customers to problem-solve, making a waste to their valuable resources and time? And your own reputation? A Copenhagen computer technician looed at the issue deep and explained that the sorftware is the issue.

Samsung WB105F

i have just had a Samsung WB105F camera for christmas and intelli-studio just keeps closing down as it starts up. Windows cannot find a solution, so what am i supposed to do? If i download another programme then i might as well as had a different camera. Perhaps i'll return it and stick to reliable Fuji.

I submitted this issue as a problem to Samsung Imaging (http://www.samsungimaging.net/2009/07/31/part5-tommy-tiky-intelli-studio/#comments ) and received absolutely no worthwhile help. I'd purchased the camera new from Japan Photo in Copenhagen, and immediately noticed the same software instability, and lost untold hours of professional work and time. Japan Photo sent the camera to the nearest service center, and I received it back yesterday. Today, in connecting to my computer, the problem was even worse.

I find it absolutely reprehensible that a corporation like Samsung does not immediately provide a fix to this issue on behalf of its customers.

Problem solving a new product's issues should never be left to the customer to work out. I liked the camera, but am beginning to doubt I will ever purchase anything by Samsung again based on a growing problem I see in its customer service
