Strobe Light Flickering Problem - So Dissapointed in Samsung

We purchased this TV a little over a year ago and we are already having a problem with the TV. We are extremely upset and dissapointed in the quality of this TV. It seem ironic that this TV only lasted one year and now the warranty is expired after 12 months. As we have seen from other posts, many other consumers have experienced similar type problems with this model. It isn't fair that problems start developing right after the warranty expires. This is completely unacceptable.
We called the service department and were told it would take at least 48 hours to get a repair person to come out and take a look. They are charging us $50 for a call out service. My repair ticket number is: 411821433.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? How was it resolved. Thank you for reading my post.
