Broken 3d TV glasses

Hi,

I have a pair of broken 3d TV glasses 2010 (one lens has cracked). I have tried to get either the store to replace them or under warranty but alas no. Has anyone else found a way of getting them fixed. Samsung have said buy a new pair and throw the old ones... that is an expensive ungreen way of dealing with this.

Active shutter glasses turn on and off, depending on the signal being used. Replacing one lens in an active-shutter technology set of glasses is much different than just changing out the lens, and the reason is likely that it's cost prohibitive to do so.

I'm sorry a set is broken, but replacement is the way to solve the issue, as repair isn't something that can be done.
