Samsung Galaxy Ace - Sound Problems.. Help please!

Hey all, so I've had my Samsung Galaxy Ace for all of 2 hours and have
been left with a problem. I went to settings > sound settings >
phone ringtone and was just browsing through all of the different tones
when suddenly my sound cut out. Now I have absolutely no sound at all
unless I'm in a call with someone then I can hear their voice.


So yeah, I can't hear a ringtone, any dialtone settings, music,
nothing.. I'm not on silent mode and I've tried a full factory reset,
any ideas? Surely the speakers can't be broken as its brand new.

Also I've just put headphones in and all sound works perfectly, further evidence for shoddy speakers?

Lyallz,

Most phone providers have a repair center where they can inspect your phone. Check to see if you're able to bring your phone to a local shop to be inspected and repaired.

There must be really a problem with your speaker. You should return to where you bought it and have it fixed as soon as possible.
