Hi, I have no sound from my playstation 3 over hdmi using a samsung P2770HD monitor.

I just bought this monitor yesterday and I had the same problem.Here's what you have to do.

Go to Settings>Sound Settings>Audio Output Settings.Select HDMI as your output setting,and that should do it.

You can also have multiple outputs,so I have mine going through the monitor's speakers and my external speakers,which are 4' tall KLM house speakers.

Anyway,hope that helps.
