Samsung LED TV

I have a Samsung UN46C5000QFXZA. I have several movies on a USB drive. The TV plays the movies great right up to 1hour and 15mins. then stops and starts plaing the next movie without finishing the orginial movie. Is there some type of time limits on the usb port or file size? My neighbor has a different Samsung and it plays the movies all the way through but not on mine. Can anyone help on this subject?

If there's a problem playing a large file through the USB drive, sometimes it is recommended to split the file up into two different files. I'm not aware of any file limits, although of course everything has a limit, and it can vary depending on the file type, the resolution, how it was encoded, or any number of variables.

I agree, it doesn't make sense that it might play on someone else's exact same model of television and not yours, but the only thing I can think of that might be different would be the firmware version.
