BD-P3600 & Shutter Island

Just picked up Shutter Island Blu-Ray plugged it in and guess what, it won't play. The disc plays until right after the Paramount splash screen then it seems to lock up the player. None of the buttons (stop, ff, eject, etc.) work except power off. The firmware has been updated to the latest version (2.09) Tried hard reset several times, it makes no difference. Contacted Samsung support, sent me to Level 2, absolutely useless. Level 2 just says oh well, the movie just came out last week, you'll have to wait for new firmware just keep checking the web site. This has been an endless cycle with Samsung. Buy a new movie, wait 2-3 months for them to get around to putting out a firmware update, repeat cycle. This is the absolute worst player I have ever had and is definitely my last Samsung!! Any advice on a player that will actually work or at least a company that can get firmware updates out in a timely manner? I'm really tired of the finger pointing between the studios & player manufacturers. I don't care who's fault it is. I paid good money for the player and the movie. Both of them should work as advertised the day I purchase them.
