Samsung Apps for TV - Some working / Some Not?

Hi---first post so please forgive any faux pas. happy

I just recently purchased a Samsung LCD TV (LN46C670M1FXZA). I've got the network setup and everything seems to be working ok. I've downloaded apps and registered accts, etc. YouTube, Netflix, Blockbuster, VuDu all work great.

I have been able to register a service account successfully for Facebook and Twitter, however I can't get either to work when I launch the app. Facebook I'm not overly concerned about because it looks like it became avaailable today. However, Twitter has been there from the beginning and I'm surprised that's not working.

I chatted online with a Samsung rep and he directed me to this site:
http://tv.samsungapps.com/us/index.html and it appears the "Full Deployment" of Samsung apps won't be out till July.

Does anyone know if this includes Facebook, Twitter, etc. I'm assuming that if the apps are available now and can be downloaded/installed they should work...now.

Any thoughts, insights, guidance?

PirateParrots,

Each of the companies that participate with a widget has control of it's access by customer, and for the features and capabilities of that widget. I'll look into this over the long weekend to see if I can get better results than what was posted.

Thanks! I really appreciate it! Like I said---I'm able to successfully register the Facebook and Twitter accounts on the service site menu on the TV. But, when I try to launch the apps...I get an error that says I need to have a registered account...

Hi HDTech--

Just wanted to let you know that all is well now. Facebook and Twitter are both working today. I imagine it had something to do with servers syncing---I don't know. Regardless...you had offered to look into it and wanted to let you know you don't have to.

For others who are shopping for TV's...the TV I bought from Samsung--model listed in first post---is AWESOME!!!! Totally happy--satisfied, etc. I've got it wired into my Network over my house AC power...and the Internet experience is awesome. The home TV experience is forever changed...
