problems with sound bar

I have a 55" b8000 led tv and a samsung sound bar connected with a optical cable that i purchased both units new about 4 months ago. they have worked seemlesly together for the last 4 months now all of a sudden the sound cuts in and out randomly and it happens alot. Any one know of some things to look at or look for or is the soundbar just done?

Have you checked to see if the subwoofer box is working?

I bought the service plan at Best Buy and they've replaced my Woofer box twice. It goes on and off and that may be what is affecting your sound. Personally, if I didn't have the service plan I'd be really mad because I've had so many problems with this thing. You are correct about the optical cord, too. My husband is currently replacing the cord because 1) It's too short and 2) it falls out easily.I think when it wiggles it makes the sound go in and out because it's in there so loose. I've tried putting tape on it by I wonder "Why should I have to???" Anyway, if your's is still under warranty you should try to get as much resolved as you can. Good luck!!
