HDMI ports dead on ln52b630

In the past on my ln52b630 occasionally HDMI port 1 would go dead, but unplugging and replugging the cable fixed the problem. I always figured it was the dish network sat box that was at fault. But now HDMI port 1 went dead and it's staying dead--along with ports 2 and 4. Port 3 still functions normally. Even stranger, at one point in my troubleshooting when I cycled through my sources, the signal going into port 3 was appearing on both source 3 and source 4.

The dead ports say "no signal," but if I pull the HDMI plug it switches to "check signal cable." So the dead ports at least know that there is an HDMI cable hooked up.

I tried switching from firmware 11 back to 9 and back to 11 again but the problem persists. Is there any other reset I can try or do I need to call Samsung warranty to deal with this?

just to update, I unplugged the TV overnight and it returned to normal operation.

Is this a normal thing for a TV to do occasionally or should I put in a warranty claim for it?

Having problem with inputs on back off tv.
First componet inputs 1&2 went out. Then I bought a switcher for HDMI it worked great for two days,then HDMI input went out followed by AV inputs going out. Only the AV inputs on the side work.

I have the same model and yesterday it started behaving exactly as you are describing.
My cable set-top box connected to HDMI 3 works, but if I try to switch to any other HDMI port it shows the cable TB signal. I them tried connecting the cable TV to the other ports and none of them work (I get 'no signal' displayed, eventhough the TV recognizes that something is connected to that input).

I tried unplugging and replugging the power on the TV but that didn't work.

I suspect the HDMI switch inside the TV is defective and I'll have to call in the repair.

Swtiching to other non-HDMI ports such as the VGA/PC port works fine.
