Samsung 46" LCD has Audio but no Video

My Samsung model #: LNS4692D-XIXAA is about 3 years old and has been in use for about 2.5 years. The problem is I have audio but no Video---just a blank screen with all connected DVDs and TV cable, including a blank screen when you change stations, hit menu and so-on. The DVD and TV cable goes into the TV with different connectors.

I read on the Internet that many had this problem and they could not get it fix, just repaired for a short time until the problem showed back-up in about 5 months or never got repaired or until it was out-of warranty.

What is the problem and what parts are needed to repair this TV, if it can be repaired. This was used as my Bedroom TV, so little use as compared to my older 60" Sony TV in the Family room that running fine!

This problem should be repaired for a reasonable cost--since a $3,000 TV should work for 10 years with no problem. This was not a $100 junk purchase.

Samsung you can run but not get a way with junk parts---learn from Toyota!

Same problem being reported by 100s of people on the net with same problem of audio with no video on Samsung LCD TV model# LNS4692DX/XAA.

2.5 years of lite use of this Sumsung in my Bedroom, My 60" Sony that is 4 years of a lot of use in my Family room has no problems just a great picture.

Surfed internet and found 100s of people who reported the same problem with that model and a lot of people saying the problem was caused by a defected T-CON, part number BN81-01286a and some also state you will need to replace the Pico-Fuse.

Called Samsung at 800-726-7864 who claimed no one has noted this as a problem!---BULL!! Samsung the Toyota of TVs.

I will be filing legal action in New Jersey, in many courts---win or loss that not the point--Samsung legal fees will be the point and getting the word out!

Me too, on my Samsung 32". No video problem.

Paid for Samsung Authorized Repair Guy $79, to tell me the main motherboard went bad! He told me this motherboard is used for all sizes of their LCD TVs! It definitely is a bad parts issue. Our TV was only 2.5 yrs old. I also filed a Quality complaint to Samsung website and got the same story, nothing reported!
