Using NAS devices with Samsung TVs and DLNA

Hi,
I know there are several other posts concerning Samsung TVs and using DLNA with NAS, but starting a new one for those that haven't exactly had their issues solved.
So I just bought the Netgear ReadyNAS DUO and I've upgraded the readyDLNA to the version to the most current version. I have a 750 Series Samsung TV (LN40A750) that supports DLNA, along with the Samsung PC Share Manager installed (version 1.5). For some reason, all the files .avi files are coming back with the 'not supported file format' error when I try to play them thru the readyNAS DLNA server. However, when I play the same files thru the Samsung PC Share Manager (DLNA server running on my PC) they play fine.
Sounds like most peoples problems have been solved after they installed the 0.16.3 addon and re-scanning the media folder, but I got no results. I've rebooted as well as turned on and off the DLNA server after the install on the NAS. Also, I'm not really sure how to check what version of the readyDLNA I have? I only know that it installed thru the log file. Just as an FYI, I have Raidiator Version 4.1.6.
I've also tried sharing the files on the NAS thru the PC Share Manager, however, I don't think the Samsung software supports NAS devices, so that doesn't work. Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
