Samsung SPF-87F issue

Hi

I recently bought a samsung SPF-87F as a gift for my parents. It seemed to work fine out of the box. After I uploaded pictures to it (after enabling the storage mode), I was able to see the images on the frame (under photo meny)

However, after I restarted the digital frame, the samsung logo shows up and nothing else happens. None of the buttons work and the screen is stuck with the samsung logo screen.

Could you please let me know if theres a way to restore factory settings/hard reset the unit.

What happens if you attach it back to the computer?

How full is the memory?

Hi

When I attach it back to the computer, the same logo is displayed. The memory isn't used at all as I just pulled it out of the packaging.

No, unless you can get into the Settings menu (which from what I read, you can't).

The only thing I can suggest is to install the firmware update if one is available. There is one for the comparable U.S. model on the website; otherwise, your best bet is to contact the Samsung customer service center in your region.

Yes I'd love to know the solution as well - mine's been dead for almost two years and I'd like to not have to dump it if I can avoid that.

I have open a post with the same problem.

I already open the frame but I can't figure it out a way to do the hard reset.
