Samsung R522 XS04TR BIOS Boot Porblem

Hi,

when I want to boot another device, I press "Esc" button at POST screen and the Boot menu pops up. Then I select my optical drive which is Slimtype blah blah blah... which has a bootable DVD in it. I press Enter but the system keeps booting from the HDD.

If I want to boot from the DVD drive, I have to get into BIOS, set it as the first boot device, save & exit and restart the PC.

And I see no "Press Esc to bring boot menu" while booting, which I do NOT like. I had to try a dozens of "Fx" keys to find the boot menu key!

I am waiting for an answer and it has been two months since then happy

I have updated my BIOS to 07LL bu the problem still exists!

After that amount of time I think that I am in the wrong forum, huh?

But you know what, I will contact the guy who makes the Micom Update software. Yes, I found him on Facebook thanks to his sign in software.

Personally I hate being disturbed about computer questions in my private life but you left me no option. I will directly talk to that engineer.
