Whats new in firmware T-CHU7DEUC-3000.G

Hello,

I live in Sweden and just saw that there is a new firmware out for my
UE46B7050 since a few days, T-CHU7DEUC-3000.G.
There are not any information about whats fixed/changed.

This is the issue with all new firmwares, why doesnt Samsung wtite whats fixed/changed/new?

Have just updated to the new firmware have not noticed many changes yet, i have noticed that when you press the 'INFO' button on remote it now puts an energy usage gauge along with what i think is your remote battery level in a little icon in the bottom right corner of tv, not sure if it is part of the firmware or not but i also had a internet widget update, had to reboot tv when i accessed it after firmware due to an update.....will continue to look for changes and update here if i find any.....shame they not updated the Media Play so you can PAUSE, FF and REW from a DLNA device...had fingers crossed for that one....maybe next time happy

Hi, thanks everyone who is searching for new features in firmware. I am considering an update to, but the main reason is that I want support for PAUSE,FWD,REV... on DLNA Device.

I have UE40B7000, it's amazing and brilliant TV, but lack of functions SUXX! I believe that it is just question of firmware, not a matter of hardware.

I would like to ask Samsung Guys, if they are not going to left us behind. I would appreciate new updates for this TV. Do you have any informations what is happening inside SAMSUNG HQ grin

I don't know of any firmware updates that will address this. It does say in the manual that some features aren't supported with DLNA, and lists FF/RW as one of those features.

FF / RW

HI,

I was able to pause, I think a WMV file (and fast forward / rewind) on one small file. I went back and tried again and the UI crapped out. Took a long time too and was quite unresponsive.

DIVX pause / ff / rw didn't work at all.

I wonder if they are getting there.....

FFWD and REW supported.

With my UE40B7020 (belgium model), the tv support the FFWD, FREW on most of my divx.
I use a ReadyNas (Netgear) with latest firmware + latest DLNA module.
