Buzzing is "normal"? Where do I go from here?

I have a 63B550. A technician came to my home 6 weeks ago and could not fix the buzzing noise. He claimed that all plasmas buzz and that this buzz was normal. He told me to call samsung.

Samsung ECR has informed me that there is nothing they can do when a tv is working normally. What can I do when I disagree with the diagnosis that the volume of the buzz is normal?

The buzz is louder than normal volume when i sit 15 feet away from the TV. If there is a pause in dialogue, the buzz dominates the room.

WHat can I do?

Sounds like a plan. Try that. Also if you type PLASMA BUZZING at google you see that many makes do that. A quiet room is going to make it seem worse.

Heck, we tossed the Xbox 360 out of the room for it's raucous noise. I never did get an answer why MSFT thought it belonged in the entertainment area.

Thoses techniques did nothing

the technician that came to the house took the display apart, but could do nothing to reduce the volume of the buzzing.

I say it is too loud and samsung says it is normal. Now what?

I read where it suggested a few things. If all this is unacceptable start asking for a refund. If you did the research you find the complaint is not this maker's exclusive problem. Be prepared to go through a few sets before you find one you will accept.
