How to install inverter board in a LNT4661FX/XAA 46" Samsung

I need instructions on how to remove and install the left side inverter board in my Samsung 46" TV. I have determined that it is a bad board because I only get audio. Believe me I have checked everything. Also, if I put a hair dryer blowing warm air onto the board the TV produces a picture when turned on after only a few minutes of warming up the board.

Others might post a different method, but in the event that someone doesn't have a step-by-step instruction, there is always a service manual available on samsungparts.com.

I would get the service manual if I could be sure that it has instructions on how to replace the inverter board.

Can you at least tell me if it does before I spend the $28+ ??

Sounds like either a crack in one of the tracks on the printed circuit board or a bad solder joint on one of the boards components or connectors.

Your heating the board causes expansion of the copper tracks, and likely the crack or bad solder joint expands and makes its electrical connection again. When it cools, the connection opens up again.

You could try checking the printed circuit board and solder joints using a good magnifying glass.
