Samsung forum: Samsung LED UN55B7100 turns off on its own.

Hi dangsters..I thought about that but I have already spent $2500 not even 2 years ago for this samsung. I hate the leds bleeding through (cloud) in the video.
It sucks period from support to product to everything about samsung.
Never buying anything samsung again in my life.

I'm encountering similar issues, although my TV isn't brand new. Still, it will randomly turn off by itself. Incredibly frustrating.

The model is HLS6767WXIAA.

I purchased a Samsung LCD TV, Model LN40D503F6F on November 17, 2011. On November 27, 2012 I was watching the TV and the screen shut off by itself and then turned on again, but it then turned off again. I called customer service in Mexico City, because that is where I live, and I was told that the TV was out of warranty, I spoke to the supervisor Mr. Leandro Batista, who was very nice and told me that he was going to escalate my problem and try to get me an extended warranty since it was just 10 days from the warranty expiration date; I called customer service every day to find out what the answer was and after 7 days, today, Tuesday December 4, 2012, I was told by Mr. Batista that they were not able to help me and that I needed to pay for the repair. I've been reading that this problem is common in the Samsung TVs and also that in some cases the Samsung support was able to get the customers a onetime service extended warranty. It upsets me that in Mexico a onetime extended warranty cannot happen, since as I explained before my warranty expired just 10 days before my TV started acting up.

I still have not heard from Samsung in Mexico City. In my frustration, I took the set into the repair center and am being told that I need to spend ~$230 to repair the set. I need your help. The TV is not even paid for yet and now I need to spend almost half the original cost to repair it. That just doesn't seem right especially in light of the fact that it seems to be a known problem. The set was one week out of warranty when I discovered the problem. Unfortunately my father was in the hospital and I was not at home to watch TV or I would have noticed the anomaly before the warranty ran out. I have a Samsung printer and a Galaxy tab because I was happy with the brand. I never dreamed that I would have a performance problem with the TV and the company would not stand behind it nor contact me as promised. What do I need to do? Please help.

Our 46" Samsung #LN46B630N1F HDTV Flat-Screen - Sitting in Living Room when "SNAP", I look up after hearing a snapping sound to see that the Samsung voluntarily powered off on its own and cut all its power; Red Light at bottom wasn't even displayed.

TV is just about 3 yrs old which to me after paying what we did is not "old"; also well taken care of, no kids here grabbing the tv or spilling things on it.

Trying to fix this on our own as we called Tech Support to be told we are on our own.

After reading so many customer complaints that this is most definitely a mistake and error in Samsung's Quality and or design or manufacturing issue, We are EXTREMELY upset.

To pay that much for an electronic that is from a "reputable" and "progressive" company who cares about their customers; This to me is absurd.

I understand companies making electronics to last just after your warranty expires; family members in I.T., etc., but this just seems very discouraging.

We will definitely not be purchasing from Samsung any longer; Upsetting that Tech Support cannot support issues that their company has been clearly responsible for causing.
