You are right in that, with technology, it could often be a combination of factors that causes an issue. I have to wonder though, if my issue isn't with the app for Netflix alone, or their ability to stream. All other applications seem to access internet data fine, and when I select to go back to the Smart Hub menu, they exit pretty quickly.
With the Netflix app, I have intermitted issues where the screen flickers to black, audio disappears, the video will pause and have to rebuffer, or when you scan through an episode or movie, will show a "Thumbnails not available for preview" or something along those lines. Then, when you try to exit the app, it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to exit (compared to Pandora, YouTube and HuluPlus taking about 5-10 seconds).
Now with the Netflix app for Wii, I do not have these problems. And the Wii is positioned about 3 feet below the TV.
Does anyone else have these same issues with the Netflix app on their Samsung TV?
