Samsung Horrible Customer Service and Product Quality

Hi,
We purchased a Samsung Flatscreen Television on July 16th 2008. In May of '09 we started having trouble turning on the television. Instead of clicking once and going on, it would turn on and of automatically and eventually turn on.
We called Samsung in June, the guy said to use the button on the TV instead. Which worked well.
Then early July it started again, we once again called Samsung and asked for technician to be send out to fix it, as trouble shooting was not working.
Samsung straight out told us, warranty had expired in November 2008. So we had to fax the receipt. We send the receipt showing the purchase date of July 16th, and when my wife called back they had no record of us calling on July 16th, they said the call was actually registered on the 17th which put us exactly 1 day outside of warranty.
Eventhough it was a reoccuring problem. Samsung did not even try to provide any type of customer service.
I'm very disappointed in the service provided by samsung, our previous also Samsung TV did not even last 3 years, should have known better then to buy that same brand again.
