lost sound threw hdmi port

Hello... my sound was working before w/ the HDMI port. Now i lost my sound....

I tryed a different cable receiver and still no sound.

I tryed hooking up with just plain audio video cables and i get sound now.

I tryed different HDMI cables.... no sound...

I have a Samsung 50" HPS5053

Its hooked up to a Time Warner DVR box...

Any help would be great ty...

Have you tried a different hdmi port? There are 3 on your tv.

I tryed port 1 and port 2.... I dont see a port 3.

Curently watching with reg a/v cables... sux happy

Very strange... I had it working... I just got the cables box 1 week ago... Upgraded to a dvr box...

Have you tried adjusting the sound settings through the DVR box itself? What options do you have for audio output?
