How to turn on closed captions?

I have the LN46A750 TV I can't find the closed captions anywhere. I hit the CC button on remote says Not Available. I can't find anything in the menu. I'm using DishTV if that makes a difference.

Oh from what i have been reading here i guess CC is not an option with these TV's.. Do you think there will be a firmware upgrade in the future to fix this? I read a direct cable connection to use the internal tuner would get it working? But then again i need Dish's box for HD TV.. right? Any info is appreciated

Closed Captioning will not go through a digital connection like it would with analog connectiobns. You might try seeing if your Dish Box has a Closed Captioning feature on it.
