SAMSUNG BDP2550 BLU-RAY FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROBLEM

I have the Samsung BLU-RAY BD-P2550 DVD player, and last night after watching a movie, the screen came up about a new firmware upgrade available to download from my Ethernet connection. I mistakenly hit yes on my remote with the movie in-stopped, and it started to download. It finished and shut off, but when I went to watch another movie the next day it went briefly to the Samsung screen , showed load and stayed in that mode. I could not eject or play the movie, what can I do?

2550 upgrade problem

See if you can call up the menu. If you can go into setup and see if there is a selection for reset to defaults. If this does not help call Samsung.

Try holding down the FF button for about 12 seconds to see if it will reset itself. If that doesn't work, and you can't get to the menu, then the best route is to call 800-SAMSUNG.
