How to do a Hard Reset Samsung LTN1765

I have a LTN1765 that won't power on. The green light in front just keeps blinking. Will a hard reset help? If so, how do you do it? If not that, what else could it possibly be?

There's not really a way to do a reset if the television itself won't turn on. Have you tried unplugging it, plugging it back and and then trying to power the unit on?

Yes I have. It would sometimes come after a while, but now it won't come on at all.

It means that it's attempting to start, but can't. I'm not able to diagnose it over "the net", so it may take a technician to take a look at it. You can get the unit fixed - as far as "is it worth it", that decision is best made by you. I don't know what's wrong with the unit, and I'm unable to give any kind of estimates.

I wish I had a better answer, but I just can't determine that.

Hi, just saw your post about the blinking green light. I have the exact same problem and havent been able to turn on the tv for a few months now. Did you ever find a solution?

Weird thing is it all of a sudden would start working. I could hit the on button and the green light would blink. After awhile, the green light would stop blinking and then I could hit the power button and it would come on. After a few weeks it would go back to blinking and not stop blinking and won't power on. I really like this TV when it works.

Samsung LCD TV LTN1765

Hi:
I have been using my 1765 as a computer monitor for the past 2 years.
Over Christmas, I moved the computer and when I reconnected the monitor I ran into the 'flashing green light syndrom.' It just flashes but won't turn on.

I have left disconnected for several days but no luck.

It was suggested to me to disconnect all connections including power and then hold down the power button for 45 seconds and then leave unplugged for 1-2 days - also didn't work.

Has anyone had any success with this problem?
