Samsung HD 1080p television - BLACK line on screen, help!

My uncle was using the television to play Valkyrie Profile 2 on this brand new 52" HD television through RCA cables, and now there is a permanent black line running horizontally across the left side of the on screen display. Regardless of the source?

What happened?
How can this be fixed?

Is the black line a result of an impact on the television, or did it just appear?

If it's a black line, it may require either a panel replacement or the replacement of electronics, depending on the issue. If it's still brand new, you can either return it to your retailer, or we can send a service technician out to fix the problem. You can schedule that at 800-SAMSUNG.

It just appeared.

It was not struck.
On closer inspection it looks to be blue, have no idea how it got there...

I am not a US resident unfortunately... so these normal procedures do not apply to me...

I live on a small island that can not be seen on traditional maps, off of the coast of Venezuela.

It is called Trinidad.

The model is LN52A 52"...

I read someone else reporting of this, after 40 days of owning it. It would be approximately the same amount of time for us.

Terribly depressed sad

I believe I have found the answer to my woes.

From my research I have found that it is common for these kinds of televisions sets to suffer from poorly seated cables, in particular the VLDS cables.

when tv is on, on left side of sceen there is black line horizontaly.
what should be the problem. is that lamp or something else ?
