Charter Cable HDMI not working

I have a LN40A750 hooked to a SA 8300HD DVR from Charter. I have been unable to get the HDMI to work with the TV. Charter tech support showed up yesterday and tried three different boxes, but all with the same result. No signal to the tv. We tried all four HDMI inputs. The HDMI cable is a Monster 1000HD-25 foot. I do not have another way to test the cable. Charter is convinced it is the tv. I bought another HDMI cable today to rule out any "cable" issues. Anybody have a similar problem or can offer any suggestions? Oh, component inputs work but I wanted to have only one cable hooked to up to the tv instead of five.

Ok what you wanna do is check if your t.v channel is on HD input. for ex(HDMI 1,HDMI 2)... if the problem continues after using diffrent cables and dvr recivers then for sure t.v is having the problem. Check with samsung for further info.

I picked up a cheap 3' HDMI from wal-mart today, worked perfectly. I contacted the vendor on my Monster cable and they are sending another cable out today.

Samsung has HDMI audio issues that they are so far refusing to address. There are multiple posts just like yours.

I am having a similar issue, I just bought a lg tv and I bought a monster 1000 and a monster 900. When I plug either hdmi into the charter box i get picture but the audio cuts in and out. When I use the same cables on my xbox and bluray player no problem. Now when I use the hdmi from charter I have no problems with the picture other than It doesn look as good as the monsters. Also the refresh through that cable is terrible which is the reason why I bought the monster cables. I know that some hdmi are one directional so I tried it both ways. When I had the 900 out of the wall I had no probelm, but then when I put it back into the wall issue started again. Trying to fix it in time for super bowl, any help?

Try one of the AmazonBasics cables. About 10 bucks.
