However I am encountering folk that can't install old apps. It was not funny that one owner brought in the machine because of this and we installed something, rebooted and it worked. The owner was adament we had done it wrong because of the reboot and was demanding we fix the install so it didn't need the reboot.

It was very hard to remain pleasant, smile, nod and offer them help with their machine to the door.

It DOES install successfully but website always alert that there is a new update for Flash on the Abobe website consequently - certain functions are disabled and this happens with 9 and latest (10.1) so called versions for PowerPC. Is there software available to replace Flash available? Peter

If so, look around for a box to turn that off. As to your new question, I have not seen or heard of such. The market for such would be small and might be folk that would not pay for such.
