best free (USA) sports downloads

Hi all. Looking to cancel my cable TV subscription and don't want to miss my sports. Most sites i look at charge a fee to deliver what any network broadcast will give for free.
The trouble is, the networks don't cover every game.
What i would like to do is download and save games to watch when i get home from work at nights.
Streaming seems to be only at the moment the games are being played. So that is of no use to me.
Any recommendations for NBA, MLB, NFL, college football and college basketball would be really appreciated.

When you put in the word "free" those groups do not have a free access or content system. They are in the business to sell the content.
