Webware forum: Online document management software needed

We are aware of the existence of DMS. We've looked into several. We don't know which would be best for us. We were hoping for more helpful replies, but thanks anyway.

Let me offer a bit more information about what we need. We are a non-profit organization promoting a plant-based lifestyle and want to put information together on an European level. For this we need a private but online reachable place where we can put finished pdf's. We want the option of tagging/categorizing, rating, discussing. Ideally we would also be also to link a photo-database to it (for recipes).

So far I found as maybe candidates: OpenKM, Nuxeo, Alfresco and Cynapse, but I'm not sure these can do what we need.

Please tell us where the app is to take this to their private server.
