7GB is good sized, and sparks some initial curiosity as to what could be that large. (Even Windows Vista and the average movie DVD don't exceed 5GB.) Then comes the aspect of RapidShare being a hub for pirated content, and with everyone on the lookout for piracy it peaks some interest. (I personally can't think of a single freeware game or game demo that's quite so large.) Granted, it's not necessary to answer your initial question, but it's still a fair question for Rick to ask. "dafdfdagwe" is an odd answer, though.

FutureMark Corporation states that 3DMark06, the latest version, comes in at just 580MB for the freeware version and does not offer a legitimate download of the professional version until after you purchase it. The two patches of 7MB and 2.5MB don't contribute much, and all of the "Goodies and Extras" for all of their products combined (1.5MB, 1MB, 1MB, 16MB, 13MB, 42.5MB, 23.3MB, 43.6MB, 3.2MB, 4.5MB) still don't push it over 700MB. Thus, I am left wondering what could possibly take up an additional 5.3GB and yet not be mentioned by Futuremark on their own website.

The point is that you've been more interested in expressing your growing outrage through three replies instead of answering a question and thereby getting the answer you desire. As I said before, you're right that the answer is not needed to address your question. But dodging the question makes it seem as if you have something to hide. I'm suspicious myself, wondering what legitimate game download exceeds that initial 7GB and how 3DMark exceeds 6GB when the author states it's under 700MB with everything included. If you can answer those questions I'd be more than happy to answer yours. If not, though, I'm afraid we'll have to assume the 7GB and 6GB are coming from something else.
