This is a problem I addressed a few months ago, but may not have been able to explain
well enough to help solve the issue. I always turn my computer off every night (Desk-Top) and start
it up in the morning. At times it will start up and I have a black screen and notice the two lights on the
tower red and green. With black screen the red light is off while the green light stays on. I have to
shut it down by the power button restart . I'm ask to start up "normally" most of the time it will
stay on no problems. This is a reoccurring problem, so much so I'm surprised when I don't have to shut down
and restart the computer. Only once did I have to do this 3 times in a roll when it suddenly goes to black screen.
A couple of times I have had a screen looks like one of Vista's wall paper screens tells me to put in my
password and I don't know what password it needs, no way to exit so I have to restart by pushing the
power button. Restarts and the computer will be fine.
Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated,
