Hi,

I just got a new roommate end she has a laptop with window vista instaled, the problem is she can not connect to our wireless internet. The thing I don't understand is that she can conect to it if I remove our wireless security, but if I secure it againt the password wont work on her computer. I even tried to secure ti from her computer and it stil did not work.

I am not familiar with vista because I have windows 7 on my on computer, but my sister also had vista and it worked just fine on her computer. I realy don't know what else to try, so if you have any ideas please share, because I realy don't want to have unsecured wifi.

Only letters and digits, no special characters, not too long.

Vista is different.

Doesn't work on all routers out of the box.

You didn't tell if the router was set to WEP or other so if it's WEP change to WPA2.

If it's WPA2 research this -> Disable Vista Broadcast Flag.

Helps with some routers.
