Any problem updating Adobe Flash Player on Vista OPS?

At one point in time, an updated version of Adobe Flash Player froze my computer & others had this problem. Has anyone encountered a similar problem in the last few days? I'm almost afraid to let it update.

I've lost count of how many times I have to disable Flash Hardware Acceleration. Some call that a bug but I think it's just rights of passage.
