Used Windows Vista Home Basic disc

Hey guys. A few years back I had a laptop in a local repair shop. And they had to re-install Windows vista on it. I still have the disc, case, and paper inserts with it they gave to me when I picked the computer up. I don't own the laptop anymore. I was wondering if this disc is still worthy and able to be resold like on eBay? The disc is in pretty decent shape. Thanks.

Ebay is like a garage sale. Put it out there and be clear you are not offering anything you can't stand behind. Think about AS-IS?

If it is an OEM ...

disk selling it would be a violation of the terms of the license (an OEM installation lives and dies with the motherboard of the computer it was activated on) but if it is a retail disk you can re-sell it as long as it is no longer installed on any other PC.
