weird: Vista is showing contents of flash drive that is...

...not connected to my computer.

Today, after I clicked "folder X" in my external hard drive, instead of seeing the contents of "folder X", I see the contents of my flash drive...which is not connected to my computer. My flash drive's files show for a couple of seconds before I am brought to "folder X" which was the folder I wanted to go to as mentioned in the beginning of this post.

Any idea why this happened? I'm using Vista 32-bit business edition.

If that is a SHORTCUT, it makes sense.

But reading http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953367 reminds me of other issues. So reboot and be sure you are clear about shortcuts versus the real thing.
