Test Mode

I just bought a Lenovo P580 laptop with windows7. On the desktop in the lower rt corner just above the task bar it says "Test Mode". Is there a way I can remove this? I don't want to take it back since I have everything set up the way I want it. Doesn't seem to be affecting the operation.

I tried the suggestion in the link but when I type in- Bcdedit.exc-set TEST SIGNING OFF it says NOT RECOGNIZED. I am running as administrator.

Only lead me to think this is not the OS the maker supplied.

Also, it's a warranty situation. Well, maybe? Maybe you got this from the back of a truck? The details are so slim that I'd guess badly but as I've seen this before, my fix is to get the OS from the laptop maker as installing Windows is not easy enough in my opinion.

I've yet to see a new PC do this. At times you wonder if they will soon have you doing even more repairs to new products.
