cant play games on pogo.com - says i need java

i am running window vista and have java for both 32 and 64 bit but everytime i try to play a game on pogo.com it tells me I need to install java. When I go to java it says i dont have it on my computer but I just uninstalled and redown loaded it on windows - It shows in my control panel and I do not have this problem on FireFox only Windows Vista IE 9 - I checked all the settings in tools for java and all is ok - what could be causing this problem??

Clarification request: Since it works on Firefox, what is the issue?

We know that IE9 64 bit can be a problem but to fix that you would have to fix Microsoft.
