Can not uninstall Samsung Allshare program

My son has a Samsung blu-ray player and uses Allshare to watch video
files stored on my PC. I received an update for Allshare on my PC(Vista 64 bit). It
will not install until the previous version is uninstalled. Windows
uninstall did not work, 3rd party "Revo Uninstaller" did not work. I
tried turning off the Allshare service through msconfig. Retarted, nothing works.
Samsung live
chat support was TERRIBLE, they were not interested in helping at all.

Pretty typical issue with many apps.

Unless the machine is very bland and has never been hit with registry cleaners or malware these apps usually install just fine.

But we know that PC support is not included with any of these apps today. This and other makers rarely have support lines to correct what is off with this PC to get their app working or even uninstalled.

This is why the old manual uninstall which is more of an idea than a procedure is used here. Remember there has never been a do this step by step for manual removals. We use simple methods such as booting to safe mode, deleting the app's program folder and then cleaning up leftovers and hope we got it all.

I'm sure there is support for such but most cost a few hundred. To the point I've seen folk dump a PC and get a new one over a small software error and they don't want to know more about Windows.

I had same issue,now it is ok.
Just u need to do system restore on your pc the day before u got all share update.after successful system restore. u need to uninstall from control panel(for vista it is program n features).after uninstall restart your pc and make sure three is no allshare present any where. after this u can down load the newversion of all share from samsung website n click run. it should work great.

reinstalled previous version
