I'm currently facing an odd problem indeed. When I turn on my computer and log into my account, everything is fine until I either open an explorer window (Documents, or any other folder) or else carry out an operation from a context menu (e.g. Empty recycle bin). On doing the mentioned for the first time since I log on, windows explorer crashes, closes (without any warning dialog boxes) and then reopens. The tray icons sometimes disappear, sometimes don't. The gadgets also close and re open when this happens.
It's an odd problem, and I'm not sure if it's related to a Trojan Horse Exploit_c.TTH infection AVG had found on my system a while ago. Anyone else ever experienced such a problem, and does anyone please have any recommendations?
Many thanks.
