How to get Win7 thumbnail previews on Windows Vista taskbar?

I have Win Vista complete w.aero feature and all that.

I know how to make my icons in my taskbar just into pure icons the way Win 7 does. I have that done already.

What I don't know is what third party program, FREE of course, I can so that when it can give me a side by side flyout thumbnails previews?

Let me explain.

Let's say for instance I have 2 (two) instances of IE running. I have but one IE icon on my taskbar. What I'd like to have happen is when I move my mouse cursor the IE icon, BOTH thumbnail previews (one for each IE I have open) pop up.

Is there some third party app to do this? I'm not so interested in the full aeropeek feature that everyone talks about - my requirement is much more narrow.

Interesting. What practical purpose would that serve ?
[When I have two instances of IE running, I have two IE icons at the taskbar which ahows the appropriate thumbnail when moused over, and I can have the two IE windows cascaded, side by side, or one on top of the other.]

which makes it easier to zoom in on the thumbnail that I want and thus expand it. certainly better than the way it's currently done with vista whereby with vista, if you have multiple IEs running and you right click all you get is text descriptions not their thumbnail previews.

Next step from winxtreme does this feature but it's a paid feature though.

anyone know of a free utility to do this?

I am using Vista Home Premium, but cannot duplicate what you are seeing. As mentioned in my previous post, I get thumbnail previews when I just mouse over the multiple IE tabs at the task bar...and I just click to open the full page.

My thought here is to move to Windows 7. I suffered with Vista for a few years and only go back during App testing. Maybe it is worth moving up?

Or buying that App that added it that you found.
