Unable to get rid of a mobile phone driver

I have a Dell XPS laptop, running Vista SP 2. I have bought a Samsung F480 and to get it unlocked, I had to install the Qualcomm USB Driver to enable me to unfreeze the phone and tounlock it. I managed to do it successfully. I then installed the correct level of PC Studio 3 and the Samsung driver for the phone. When I connect the phone to the laptop via USB, Vista installs the Qualcomm drivers (both Moden & Comms port). The Samsung software does not recognise the phone and if I try to manually select the Samsung driver (via Device Manager - Update driver), I am only told that I have the best driver for the device. I really need to get the phone hooked up to the PC Studio software, as I need to get my phone numbers and addresses onto it. Does anyone have an idea of what to do?
