Windows Media Player Library

I have a Seagate 320 gig external hard drive that I keep all my music on. I recently got a Zune and after loading it some music disappeared from my WMA library. I tried the add to library function with out any luck. I even selected the actually file that the artist and songs were in with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
